I would like to share some information about a product Google Analytics (http://www.google.com/analytics/) which is software that is very useful tool for today’s marketers. Google analytics let us know that haw many people visited our website or a particular link and many other important information’s that will help a marketer to do things in a better way and is also important as we can seethe success of things already done.

Introduction to Google Analytics

Google Analytics (http://www.google.com/analytics/) is a software that help you know that how many people visited your site and what kind of content they looked so, this kind of software is a great help for the marketing industry as all the marketers want to know that how are there online advertisements and other online information to generate new customers are working or whether they are being able to convey the right message or not. Google analytic provides information in two types of statistical data Metrics and dimensions.   

Mertics and dimensions

Metrics: metrics reflects the numbers as quantity is easy to understand as numbers because are same worldwide. Metrics provides the information that how many people visited a site, number of time he/she visited, how frequently etc. Which helps understand behaviour of people that what they like, what kind of information they are looking, what kind of content attracts them and their actions afterword’s.

Dimensions: dimensions reflect the information about different things that can help understand a website visitor properly. Dimensions includes location of a visitor as country, state, city etc. it  also informs about his/her language, browser used, presence on different social media, references and many more.
